Robert H. Dial's Obituary
Robert H. Dial, 68, of Woodburn was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. After a short fight with cancer, he is finally at peace. Born in Ft. Wayne he was raised in South Whitley. He attended Woodburn United Methodist Church, and was a member of Monroeville Masonic Lodge F.A.M. #293. He was a 19 year employee of International Harvester, 15 year employee of Sheller Globe, most of all he enjoyed sharing his time and knowledge with the residents of Woodburn while working at the Woodburn Hardware.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna; sons: Troy (Barbara) Dial of Albion, Jason (Lisa) Dial, Jarod (Audra Woodcox) Dial, both of Woodburn,; grandchildren: Domnic, Rashel, Alexis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be welcomed into heaven by his parents, Robert and Ruby Dial, and brothers, Richard and Ronald Dial.
Funeral service is 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 with calling one hour prior at Woodburn United Methodist Church, 4300 Becker Rd.,Woodburn. Pastor Terry McDonald officiating. Calling is also Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Rd. 930 E., New Haven, IN 46774 with Masonic Lodge service at 4:00 P.M. Burial is in Harlan Memorial Cemetery, Harlan. Preferred memorials are to Woodburn United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
