Robert "Bob" E. McMichael's Obituary
Robert "Bob" E. McMichael, 80, of New Haven, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late William and Emma McMichael. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven and the Holy Name Society. He served his country in the US Army Reserve and was a retired brick mason. Bob's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren meant everything to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; children, Patricia (Richard) Feagler of Fort Wayne, Robert (Sandra) McMichael of Peoria, AZ, and Steven (Judy) McMichael of New Haven; grandchildren, Aaron and Andrew Feagler, Claire Schrecker, Paul, Kaitlin & Alyssa McMichael; and great grandchildren, Barbara Bea and Sophia Feagler. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is also 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to American Lung Association or to the family.
