Robert "Bob" Fox's Obituary
Robert W. "Bob" Fox, 82, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at home. Born in Linn Grove he was the son of the late John and Marie Fox. He retired in 1983 from International Harvester with over 26 years of service. He was a member of Maumee Valley Steam and Gas Association, and the U.A.W. He enjoyed working on and restoring classic cars and repairing gas engines.
He is survived by his daughter, Ruth (Tom) LaBonte of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Shirley Johnson of Monroe; companion, Emma Ginter of New Haven; grandchildren, Brandon (Melissa) Gillenwater, Chad (Leslie) Gillenwater, Ryan LaBonte, Elliott LaBonte, and Gina (Juan) Villanueua; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Eunice in 2007; son, Meryl Fox; sister, Patsy Dellinger; and great grandson, John Michael.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Calling 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial is in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Maumee Valley Steam and Gas Association.
