Rita R Ritter's Obituary
Rita R. Ritter, 88, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. Born in Stamford, Connecticut on January 29, 1931 to Charles and Katherine (Mueller) Ritter, she taught school for many years in New York until she moved to Fort Wayne in 1988. Here she was a teacher for five years at St. Louis Academy Besancon and later worked in the activities department at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven.
She is survived by several dear cousins and many cherished friends.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Father Ben Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Masses or to Rita's Headstone Fund.
