Richard "Dick" Parquette's Obituary
Richard A. “Dick” Parquette, 86, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at his residence. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Ashley and Mary “Ceil” (Weber) Parquette. He served his country in the US Air National Guard. He retired from Rea Magnet Wire Company, Fort Wayne, after 39 years. Richard enjoyed fishing, golf, and watching college and professional football, but he especially loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna (Hite) Parquette; children, Keith (Deb) Parquette, and Theresa Campbell; stepchildren, Michelle (Steve) Milholland, and Tonya Arnold; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Borne; brother, George Parquette. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
