Richard Dale Lauer's Obituary
Richard "Dick" Dale Lauer, 87, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Majestic Care, New Haven. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Dale and Ruth (Doehrman) Lauer. He served his country in the National Guard and was the past vice president of Summit City Moving Company. He also enjoyed golf, fishing, and football.He is survived by his daughters, Diana Lauer, Jean Vogel, and Mariann Lauer; sister, Karen Ammermann; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and companion, Carol Hughes. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
