Richard H. Jennings' Obituary
Richard H. Jennings, 82, of New Haven, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday May 12, 2012. Born January 6, 1930 in Narunna, VA, he was the son of the late Richard H. Jennings and Constance Wright Jennings.
He attended The Church House in Milan Center, IN (now meeting in Grabill). He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with The Church House Gospel Band.
He was a member of Teamster Local #7 in Kalamazoo, MI and retired in 1990 after 30 years of service with Central Transport Company.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, son: Darryl (Patty) Jennings of Ft. wayne, step-sons: Scott (Chinn) Ritter of Lauren, SC, Mike (Sherri) Ritter of Ethiopa, East Africa; siblings: Jim Jennings and Weta (Harold) Swanson both of VA; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife of 53 years, Jo Jennings and son, R. Daniel Jennings.
Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at The Church House, 13313 Indiana St., Grabill (corner of Indiana St. and Second St.). Preferred memorials are to Mike and Sherri Ritter #166, c/o The Rafiki Foundation, P.O.Box 1988, Eustis, FL 32727. Burial is in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, IN
