Richard E. Harvey, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard E. Harvey, Sr., 87, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Van Wert, Ohio, he was the son of the late Everett and Rosella Harvey. He served his country in the US Army and retired in 1982 from American Hoist.
He is survived by his children, Tom (Rosetta) Conroy of Harlan, Mike Conroy and Richard (Cinthia) Harvey, Jr. both of Fort Wayne, Gary Harvey, Rose Boyd, Carol (Gary) Anders, and Lisa Jacquay all of New Haven, Greg (Kathy) Harvey and Joseph Harvey both of Butler; sisters, Thelma Gillenwater of Fort Wayne, and Rhea Tinker of New Haven; 25 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Aleatha Harvey; brother, Robert Harvey; and grandson, Kevin Harvey.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling hours 2 hours prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the family.
