Richard Dick Goodman's Obituary
Richard “Dick” Goodman, 77, of New Haven, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. The Culver, IN native was the son of the late Vernard and Ruby Goodman. He retired in 1995 from UPS after 35 years of service.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty; son, Michael Goodman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Corey Goodman of Virginia Beach, VA, Ashley (Neal) Bryant and Jennifer (Adam) Jackson both of Fort Wayne; great grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kylie, Khloey, and Gracie; sister, Jeanne Watson of Bourbon, IN; sister-in-law, Jean Goodman of Rochester, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joni Goodman Berry; and siblings, Bill and Bob Goodman, and Ruth South.
Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Monday, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling from 11 to 2 p.m. prior to service. Chaplain Karen Kosberg officiating. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home, Health, and Hospice.
