Rhea A. Tinker's Obituary
Rhea A. Tinker, 95, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Rosella (Baker) Harvey. She was a longtime and devoted member of Martini Lutheran Church, New Haven. Rhea was a supportive and loving wife to her husband, Donald, during his career which included chief of Adams Twp Fire Station 1 and Captain of the Traffic Division for the Allen County Police Reserves. She especially loved spending time with her family and babysitting her grandchildren. Rhea enjoyed walks, crossword puzzles, and volunteering at nursing homes.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Debbie) Tinker, Dennis (Pamela) Tinker, Deborah (Carl) Baermann, Donna (Steve) Baker, and Denise (Matt) Gibbons; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donald in 2004; and siblings, Robert Harvey, Richard Harvey, and Thelma Gillenwater.
Funeral service is 12 pm Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (10-12). Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to Martini Lutheran Church or The Michael J.
