Rex Charles Humbarger's Obituary
Rex Charles Humbarger, 82, of Tavares, FL, died, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, FL. Born in Celina, Ohio he was the son of the late Noah and Hazel Humbarger. The US Army veteran was a member of Holiday Mobile Park Boat Club. He retired in 1994 as the owner/operator of King Foods after 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, Burnadean Humbarger; children, Rick (Cathie) Humbarger of Fort Wayne, Regina (Tom) Koshar of New Haven, KY, and Rhonda (Steve) Robinson of Ferguson, MO; step-mother, Bernice Humbarger of Sebring, FL; half-sister, Nancy Krauskopf of Fort Wayne; cousin, Grace Garrett of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, IN with calling starting at 10 a.m. prior to service. Pastor Jason Baeuerle officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the Broadway Christian Church InAsMuch Ministry building renovation or Wounded Warriors Project.
