Raymond Daniel Snyder's Obituary
Raymond Daniel Snyder, 69 and a lifelong resident of New Haven, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. He was the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Isenbarger) Snyder. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. He enjoyed working on and restoring cars and any kind of car racing, playing golf, and spending time at the lakes, but he especially loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his sisters, Beth (Robert) Burger of Hampden, MA, and Marcia (Darrell) Senior of Fort Wayne; Uncle Dan “Uncle Boomie” was adored by his niece and nephews, Rachel Senior, Nick (Anna) Senior, Craig Burger, Kevin (Brenda) Burger, Todd (Rachael) Burger, and Chris Snyder; also survived by his sister -in -law, Rena Zirille. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Snyder and Anne Snyder.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling half hour prior to service. His cousins, Father Glenn Kohrman, and Deacon Jerome Kohrman officiating with Father Bill Sullivan. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with a vigil service at 5:00 p.m. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials to the church and Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
