Raymond "Ray" Lawson's Obituary
Raymond “Ray” Lawson, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at home. Born in Field, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hughie and Ada (Brock) Lawson. He worked at Delagrange Ford and Allen County Motors, retiring in 1980. He loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his children, Johnny (Cheryl) Lawson of Auburn, Ann (Mike) Lawson, Brenda (Junior) Jones, Dot Ledford, and Lisa (Terry) Ramsey all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Burchell Brock and Walter Brock both of Kentucky; three step-sons; 13 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his children, Charles and Caroline Lawson.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling two hours prior to service. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to American Diabetes Association.
