Phyllis Kathleen Renno's Obituary
Phyllis "Kathleen" Renno, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late John and Lelia (Maxwell) Barto. She was a member of Taylor Chapel Ministries, Fort Wayne. She was a member of the first graduating class of Parkview School of Nursing in 1953 and was a registered nurse at Saint Anne's Home, Fort Wayne. Kathleen enjoyed quilting, spending time at Atwood Lake with her family, and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and was known for her amazing pies and chicken and noodles. For many years, she used her sewing talents to create supplies for cancer patients.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth; children, K. Michael (Belinda) Renno, Bradley (Deborah) Renno, Delaine (Anthony) Stump, Kevin (Julie) Renno, and Gregory (Angela Chester) Renno; brother, Thomas (Beverly) Barto; sister-in-law, Jane Barto; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, J. Eugene Barto.
