Phylice Kay Yoquelet's Obituary
Phylice Kay Yoquelet, 70, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, unexpectedly at her home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Erma (Waikel) Saylor. She previously worked at Golden Years Retirement Home, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed fishing, flowers, camping, going out to eat with her family, and playing cards with her “Golden Girls.” She especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Dianna (Kevin) Cressley, Keith Yoquelet, Dawn (Brian) Biggerstaff, and Jeffery (Amanda) Yoquelet; sisters, Alice (Mark) Affolder, and Kelly (Harry) Haskin; grandchildren, Shauna (Grant) Copsey, Cristy (Brian) Tilley, Marissa (Tim) Cressley, Samantha (Tony) Yoquelet, Amber Yoquelet, and Jessica (Brad) Biggerstaff, and Autumn Biggerstaff; great grandchildren, Travis Copsey, Zachary Baumle, Zane Loyall, Cameron Copsey, Granger Dull, and Waylon Berghoff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keith Yoquelet in 2005; sisters, Carol Rathgaber, and Darlene Goodpaster; grandson, Keith Allen Yoquelet Jr. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior (10-11 am). Visitation is also 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association.
