Pauline R. Melcher's Obituary
Pauline R. Melcher, 93, a long-time resident of New Haven died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Lake Twp., Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Rosa Kauder. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven and a 34 year member of the Adams Havenettes Homemakers. She had worked for the General Electric Company for 10 years. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Dennis) Hart of St. Joe, Ind. and Nancy (Dennis) Haley of Auburn, Ind, and her good friend, Barb Kreager.. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George W. Melcher in 2007; sister, Ruth Springer and twin brother, Paul Kauder.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy 930 E., New Haven where calling will begin at 5:00 P.M. until service time. Rev. David Stecker officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven.
