Paul G. Martin's Obituary
Paul G. Martin, 92, of New Haven, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Amsterdam, New York he was the son of the late George and Catherine Martin. He was a member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church, New Haven. The US Army veteran was a member of American Legion Post 330. He was an electrical engineer civilian contractor for the US Navy retiring in 1984.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Cathy) Martin, Jr. and Laurie Theetge both of New Haven and Katherine Hanna of Utica, NY; ten grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances E. Martin in 2000; and daughter Frances Ward in 2009.
Funeral service is 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd., New Haven with calling from Noon until time of service. Pastor Rick Fletcher officiating. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven with military honors. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
