Paul Linwood Hudson's Obituary
Paul L. "Sonny" Hudson, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Bethlehem Woods, Fort Wayne. Born on January 13, 1935, in Crown Point, Indiana, he was the son of the late Estel and Harriet (Winland) Hudson. He was a member of Blackhawk Christian Church, Fort Wayne. He was a United States Navy veteran who worked most of his life in commercial heating and air-conditioning, retiring from J.O. Mory, Inc. He enjoyed golfing, playing solitaire, fishing, camping, and being with family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Mary Hudson; children, Terry (Chris E.) Hudson of Fort Wayne and Rebecca (Grant) Becker of Ossian; stepchildren, Chuck (Lisa) Surack, Cathy Surack, Mike (Joellen) Surack, Marianne (John) Filosa, and Nancy Surack all of Fort Wayne; siblings, Robert Hudson and Barbara Gerlach; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Janet in 2012; infant twin sons, Timothy Paul and Thomas Alan Hudson; and brother, Jim Hudson
Funeral service is 12 pm Monday, September 16, 2024, at The Towne House Retirement Community Chapel, 2209 St. Joe Center Rd., Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior (10 to 12 pm). Burial to follow at IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to Heart to Heart Hospice or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
