Paul Charles "Bud" Creager's Obituary
Paul Charles "Bud" Creager, 88, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Born in Peru, he was the son of the late Paul and Mildred (Landis) Creager. He retired from International Harvester after 35 years. He was involved with Audiences Unlimited, where he sang and played several instruments including the banjo, ukulele, guitar, harmonica, and mandolin. He also enjoyed whittling, stained glass, poetry, could fix anything and was even a gymnast in his younger years.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Carol; daughters, Cindy (Dale) Schorey and Patricia (Richard) Kline; sister, Jean (John) Singer; daughters-in-law, Sue Creager and Becky Creager; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren with three on the way. He was also preceded in death by his sons, James, Thomas, Mark, and Paul; and siblings, John, Donald, and Beverly Creager and Katherine Alley.
Funeral service is 2 pm Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (Noon - 2pm). Burial is 10 am Monday, February 5, 2024, in IOOF Cemetery, 1109 Hartzell Rd., New Haven. Preferred memorials to American Heart Association.
