Patti Jo Kaufman's Obituary
Patti Jo Kaufman, 71, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James and Delores (Neat) Montague. She attended Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne. She was with Wayne Recreation Center for over 40 years and Georgetown Bowl for three years. An avid Chicago Bears fan, she also enjoyed bowling, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill; children, James (Carlee) Kaufman of Apex, NC, Brian (Leesa) Kaufman of New Haven, and Melissa Kaufman of Fort Wayne; sisters, Pamela (Dan) Hettinger of Ocala, FL and Paula (Bill) Ratliff of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Eric Kaufman, Gage and Arayana Chaffin; great grandson, Dakota Chaffin; and her beloved dog, Buster.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
