Patricia Helen Ladig's Obituary
Patricia Helen "Pat" Ladig, 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Theresa (Urbine) Martin. She received her undergraduate degree from Ball State University and went on to complete her master's at Western Michigan University. She retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools in 2018 where she taught students with sight and hearing impairments. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, and helping people.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steven "Mike" Ladig; siblings, Carol (Vince) Schaefer, Nancy Becker, Michael Martin, and Thomas (Denise) Martin; mother-in-law, Phyllis Ladig; three stepchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family to receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E. New Haven. Casual attire welcomed. Preferred memorials are to the League for the Blind. For online condolences please visit www.harperfuneralhome.com.
