Patricia Joan Goss' Obituary
Patricia Joan Goss, 92, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Glynnis (Merica) Baker. She attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne. She was a 1946 graduate of South Side High School where she was a baton twirler. She worked in office administration at the Allen County courthouse and previously worked at Magnavox. She enjoyed western movies, animals, taking walks, bicycling, traveling, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and truly loved spending time with her family. Her favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz and she enjoyed swing dancing with her husband. She also loved Red Skelton, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman and Letterman concerts. She is survived by her children, Mark Goss, Chad Goss, Dyke Goss, Lance Goss and Lorie Heiniger all of Fort Wayne; brother, Richard (Bea) Baker of New Haven; granddaughter, Kori Heiniger of Fort Wayne; and great grandchildren, Jordan, Kileigh and Londynn. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Harold A. Goss in 1966; a stillborn sister, Phyllis Baker; sister, Marcia Bradtmiller; and brother, Paul Baker who died while serving his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to First Baptist Church, New Haven.
