Patricia J. Gerbers' Obituary
Patricia J. Gerbers, of New Haven, died October 31, 2014 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Irmgard (Albersmeyer) Doctor. Pat retired as a machine operator at Sheller Globe and UTA after 27 years of service. She was a very active member Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven.
Pat is survived by her husband of 63 years, Delmar; children, Terry Gerbers of New Haven, Joette (Stanley) Heine of Fremont, and Jay (Gina) Gerbers of Fort Wayne; siblings, Kenneth Doctor, and Colleen (Don) Stalter of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son; Timothy; and siblings, David, Dean, and Linda Doctor.
Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Scott A. Zeckzer officiating. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Woodburn. Preferred memorials are to Worship for Shut-Ins and the church.
