Pat was always a bright light- she and Mary Lee were huge supporters of the struggle for equality- feminist to the core, she made sure her NOW organizational papers went to the Women's Collection at the Indiana Historical Society. She was very involved in the ERA campaign in Indiana and marched in Washington, DC for it. She led chants and songs on buses and raised spirits where ever she landed. She was greatly respected for her creativity and can do attitude. She will be missed.

I’m heartbroken to learn of the passing of Pat, but I am assured resting knowing that she’s back at Mary Lee “Murdy’s” side. I had the please of meeting Pat and Mary Lee at the annual Xena Conventions in Los Angeles, and maintaining warm hugs and hours and hours of spiritual conversations for years to come. I have known Pat since high school....we have been good friends since then...she has always been so kind and friendly to everyone....so glad that I got to talk to her a few weeks ago..Pat will be missed by many....RIP my dear friend.

Heaven just gained an angel , Pat was my Choir director at the Jr High I remember the choir preformed Shine Down with flash lights it was just pretty . Pat had us all spend the whole choir class practicing with a choreographer to the class to help.

Pat, I can not begin to say how much you will be missed. A wave hi, a few minutes of friendly talk, was always looked forward to. I'm sorry I did not come across the street to see you, I wanted you to be as comfortable as possible so I did not disturbe you. I know Justis thought of you and Mary Lee as grandparents. When I look across the street I see an empty hole, but know it is a place of joy, happiness and energy. Thank You for the joy you have given to us.

Miss Diehl was always so nice to see when I was in the Jr. high choir. I loved choir. After I graduated I did see her every so often at the store or in the addition we lived. We lived in the same addition. She will be missed greatly.

Pat was an intelligent, interesting, and talented person. She also had a big heart. Her yearly visits with our mom, Mary Lee Richeson, were anticipated with much excitement. We are grateful that she and mom are together again.
