Oscar W. Larson, Jr.'s Obituary
Oscar W. Larson, Jr., 94, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne. Born in Wausau, WI., he was the son of the late Oscar and Clara Larson. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. and retired as a Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Air Force Reserves in 1977. Oscar retired from Sears Roebuck Company's Automotive Dept. in 1976 after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen; children: Oscar W. (Mary Kay) Larson, III of Trumansburg, NY, Ruth Trzynka of New Haven, Chuck (Heather Romang) Larson of Wausau, WI; brother: Ole Larson of Boone, NC, grandchildren: Courtney (Pete) Milkie, Anders Larson, Andrew (Tabitha) Trzynka, Chris Trzynka, Lief (Ann Zitzmann) Larson, Lorrelle Larson and great granddaughter: Katherine Milkie. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Roger Larson and son-in-law, Dennis Trzynka.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with family receiving friends two hours prior to service time. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, WI. Preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church Adult Choir or Parkview Hospice.
