Ornell J. Kitchen's Obituary
Ornell J. Kitchen, 89, died, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Oral and Nellie (Collins) Kitchen.
She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church, where she served as the church organist for many years and was very active in several church ladies groups. She retired from Brooks Manufacturing in 1970 after 30 years. Ornell also served as office secretary for the Airomat Corp. for 12 years before retiring in 1986.
She is survived by her nephew David (Sharon) Armey of Bowling Green, KY, great nephew: Dale Armey of Bowling Green, KY, great nieces: Monica Rank of Atlanta, GA and Mindy Peterson of Louisville, KY and several great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 12:00 Noon. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling two hours prior. Chaplain Karen Kossberg officiating. Burial is in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Heartland Hospice.
