Norm was an avid conversationalist. We first met during my 9 year tenure at Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. It was my privilege to coach Doug there. He was always one of my favorite kids. Both mom and dad did a great job raising him. Later, I continued to enjoy our annual sparkling conversations when Norm would call on Heritage Jr./Sr. High School in his job as an observer. Of course, we would catch up on each other's kids and all the goings on -- especially baseball. He was a great human being and will truly be missed. I also enjoyed seeing his grandson pitch in the Heartland Conference and visiting with Doug and Aaron at Manchester. I am sure Norm will be looking down on all of his extended family with great pride and joy.
Sincerely,
Dean Lehrman
Norm was such a blessing to the Lutheran community! I drove School Bus for him at Holy Cross Lutheran School and even drove his HCLS football team to Fairview, Ohio to play a couple games. He had a gift in connecting many schools and a wonderful way of communicating with the youth. I also worked with Norm while I produced "Worship for Shut-Ins" at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We worked with the children in producing a Video 101 Class for a Weekly Devotion that was broadcast into each classroom on Friday mornings! He was a great leader in the Lutheran community as well! He understood why my daughter attended Central Lutheran School while I continued to work at "Worship for Shut-Ins". We will miss him for only a short while until we see each other again in heaven! He is truly a Saint!
Sorry to hear of the passing of a truly wonderful man. He was an inspiration to me while in school. He always seem to be smiling and was a positive caring person. Prayers to the family at this difficult time.
To think of the actual number of lives “Storman Norman” touched over his life boggles the mind. Some of my classmates loved him, some not so much. Mr. McNally, though, was a person who was always fair and calm. His dedication to his school, his young men and women, and his profession is something I have rarely seen in my life. I am honored to have known him and thankful the Lord saw fit to put him in my life when He did. Our family’s condolences to Carol and his family. He will be missed by many.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Carol...Sorry on your loss of Norm. He was meant to be in the education field. WHAT A GREAT PERSONALITY...He handled problems with a smile and gentle voice.
Tried to convert him to be a Lutheran. May the Lord give you strength to get thru this.

You all have our deepest sympathy during this time. Stormin Norman was the best principal we could of had and he was very fair and a genuine person. He was well respected by all the students and I never heard anyone say a negative word about him. I witnessed him during several occassions with several students (to include myself) and he handled each one perfect. He will be greatly missed and he made an impact in so many lives. He was a great man!!! God Bless you all.
Sorry for the loss. I remember Mr. Norman McNally, because he was my high school principal at Fairview High school. I remember him well a nice man and great educator.
