Norma Meta Hartmann's Obituary
Norma Meta Hartmann, 79, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Woodview Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Wilhelmina (Lange) Hartmann. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek, New Haven. She retired in 2001 from the Lutheran Home after 34 years. She was also a recipient of the Lutheran Foundation Maxine Rippe Award in 2000.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Loraine Hartmann of New Haven; nephews, Roger (Liz) Hartmann and Dennis (Sue) Hartmann both of New Haven; niece, Patricia (John) Breit of Woodburn; and six great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, John, Harold, and Vera Hartmann.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek, 1910 N. Berthaud Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. The Rev. Michael Blodgett officiating. Calling is also 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek or Heartland Hospice.
