Norbert S. Henry's Obituary
Norbert S. Henry, 75, of New Haven, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. The rural New Haven native was the son of the late Felicien and Isabella (Gerardot) Henry. Norbert served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. He retired from Wayne Home Equipment in 1998 after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eileen; daughters: Germaine (Robert) Wilson, of Cromwell; Jane (Patrick) Huber of Fort Wayne, Rita (Thomas) Burchardt of New Haven; sister, Veronica Bartoch; brothers: Joseph Henry and Irwin Henry all of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Henry.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling 1 hour prior to service. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is also from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 3:30 P.M. Burial is in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
