I will always remember going to the beauty shop with my Mom and listening to the stories Neva and my mom would share. They had a true friendship. Neva will be greatly missed.
neva started my passion for cars. when my mother Opal "winget" reddin would get her hair done she would always buy me a 29 cent wind-up MG sports car. i would rollit all over the floor till; the hair would plugged the motor .neva used to pay me 10 cents ,or a nickel to clean the brushes and combs. I would then buy a coke with the money. my memory could be a little tarnished that was 57,58, yrs ago. I do remember talking to her at my aunt mary Bieber's funeral a couple yrs ago .she always had a warm smile my deepest condolenses
As a little girl my Grandmother, Lola "Dolly" Reed, and my Mom, Joan "Jo" Nunn, would take me with them when Neva would cut and style their hair. Neva cut my hair for many years as well. I have many fond memories of listening to Neva, Grandma, and Mom talking, sharing stories, and laughing.
Neva was a wonderful friend to my Mom and Grandma when my Dad passed in 1973 - and she was a wonderful woman who blessed so many lives. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her over the years.
