Nathan E. Swenson's Obituary
Nathan E. Swenson, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Allenville, Wis. he was the son of the late Albert and Eleanor Swenson. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of the New Haven Eagles, New Haven Moose, Howard Bandelier V.F.W. Post 2457, and American Legion Post 330. He retired in 1990 from General Electric after 25 years.
He is survived by his children, Mindy Sue LePienski, Lorrie (John) Gilliam, Kris (Jay) Ross, Nathan Swenson II, and David (Polly) Swenson; several beloved step-children, grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his former wives, Gwendolyn, Grace, and Ramona; two sisters; and three brothers.
Memorial graveside gathering will be at Noon Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville, Ohio. Preferred memorials are to Trinity Lutheran Church Hispanic Outreach on Tillman Rd., Fort Wayne.
