Nancy K. Zehr's Obituary
Nancy K. Zehr, 64, of New Haven, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Parkview Hospice, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Myrtle Edith Foust. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She loved children and enjoyed many years babysitting and working as a crossing guard in New Haven. Nancy spent many years camping, loved a good garage sale, and could often be found rounding up folks for the latest game of BINGO at Heritage Park Nursing Home.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard; son, Brian Zehr of Chicago, IL; and siblings, Patricia Pepe of New Haven and William (Denise) Foust of St. Joseph, MI. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Brent.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4643 Gaywood Dr., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Father Dan Durkin officiating. Calling is also 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. Henry's Catholic Church or Heritage Park Nursing Home Activity Fund.
