Nancy J. Monhollen's Obituary
Nancy J. Monhollen, 82, died Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Wilmore, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Eliza (Alcorn) Woods. Nancy owned two businesses in her lifetime and loved playing cards. She was a mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Judy Gleason, Mary Ford, Lois Monhollen and Marty Monhollen; sisters, Barbara McDaniels and Mae Sexton; grandchildren, Sarah, Cierra, Crystal, Alexandria, Andrew, Elise, Danyal, Billie Jo, Justin, and Corey; and nine great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William; children, David Monhollen and Karen Bare; brothers, Paul, Abe, Grandville, and John; and grandson, Benjamin Bare.
Funeral service is 3 p.m. Thursday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Pastor Jim Platner officiating. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer’s Association.
