Myron Eugene Tarr's Obituary
Myron Eugene Tarr, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in Huntington, he was the son of the late Elmer and Helen (Osborne) Tarr. He retired in 1997 from BF Goodrich after 35 years. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, tinkering in his garage, and was known for being able to fix anything. He was also an Assistant District Administrator for Indiana District 10 Little League for over 20 years.
He is survived by his children, Laurie (Tim Heim) VanMeter, Scott (Dennis Greaf) Tarr, John (Jennifer) Tarr, and Brent (Angelia) Tarr; sister, Marianne (Chuck) Turner-Click; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joyce in 2011; siblings, Max Tarr, Marjorie Feathers, and Maurice Tarr; and grandson, Clayton Crumley.
Funeral service is 4 pm Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation from 1 to 4 pm prior to service. Casual dress requested with blue jeans encouraged. Inurnment in Covington Memorials Gardens, Fort Wayne at a later date. Preferred memorials to Junior League World Series.
