Myla Hyman-Heine's Obituary
Myla Hyman-Heine, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Rockford, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Lorena (Stuckey) Weinman. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, where she actively served on the Ladies Society. She formerly owned a family business. Myla enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and cheering for Indiana University Basketball. Above all she loved her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Mellany (Dennis) Secrist and Lori (Robert) Nelson both of New Haven; step-children, Colleen Peters, Charles Heine, Stanley Heine, Dave Heine, Gwyn Mannion; sisters, Mary Breithaupt of Syracuse, NY and Mona Thompson of Rockford, OH; grandchildren, Kari Secrist, Rachel Schaller, Andrew Nelson, Staci Krueger, and Haley Nelson; 18 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 18 step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Robert Hyman in 1998 and Gaylord Heine in 2016.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating. Visitation is also 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 S.R. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the Emanuel Ladies Society.
