Mildred E. Bevington's Obituary
Mildred E. Bevington, 94, of Fort Wayne, formerly of New Haven died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Edna Deam. She was a member of the Trier Ridge Community Church and the W.C.S.C.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Barnhill of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bevington in 2002; children, David Bevington in 1973 and Sharon Schneider in 1992; brothers, Ralph and Russell Deam; and grandchildren, Ashley and Zach Strack.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. The Rev. Matt Tosten officiating. Calling is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Southern Care Hospice or Trier Ridge community Church.
