Michael Thomas' Obituary
Michael Wayne “Mike” Thomas, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fort Wayne. He retired from a career in construction and remodeling, an industry he enjoyed. He spent his free time working with and creating computer software and hardware programs. He also enjoyed researching natural health remedies. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jodi; children, Matthew (Margie) Thomas of Cartersville, GA, Robin Thomas of Pleasant Hill, NC, and Kyla Thomas of Fort Wayne; father, Lloyd Thomas of Port Richey, FL; siblings, Rick (Tammi) Thomas of Hartville, OH, Ken (Joyce) Thomas of Ashley, Kathy (Russ) Downard of Holland, OH, and Karen (Steve) Ball of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Liam, Gillian, and Delaney Thomas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel (Leavell) Thomas. Memorial service is 7 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Jeff Wahl will be officiating.
