Michael "Mikie" J. Weber's Obituary
Michael "Mikie" J. Weber, 65, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at UMC of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Carl and Elsie Weber. The US Army veteran served his country in Vietnam. He retired from ABF Freight in 2012 after 35 years. Mikie had a great sense for adventure, vacationing and traveling were among his favorite things.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy; children, Cameron (Amber) Klug and Michelle Clayton both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Austin, Keegan, Rhiannon, Jagger, Julian, and Eliza; sisters, Dianne (Donald) Matzat of St. Louis, MO and Karen (Steve) Cluver of Boulder City, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer's Association.
