Maynard E. Yarian's Obituary
Maynard E. Yarian, 86, passed away on September 29, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Earl and Grace Yarian. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Fort Wayne and was also a deacon, greeter, bible school bus driver and visited the elderly. He served his country in the US Army and retired in 1994 from B. F. Goodrich with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly; children, Ron Yarian of New Haven, Ronda (Scott) Laabs of Woodland Park, CO, and Traci (Scott) Freck of Sandpoint, ID; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn, Maxine, and Max.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Friday at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Pastor Ron Hawkins and Pastor Frank Sitcler officiating. Calling is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the church.
