I was blessed to know Matt as a camper at Walcamp in the early 1990's. He was fun loving and joyful. He and I along with the other two campers I had that week, Scott and Kirk, had a blast going for hikes, playing softball and trying to sleep in as long as possible. Matt always wants "hamburger, fries" for any meal. I thank God for my memories of Matt.

Matt will certainly be missed. He was part of our GiGi family and was so loved. We always talked about getting a tattoo together. He loved ink and the ladies, he told everyone he met that he was a ladies man.
My brother was my daughter Dayana's GodFather. His love of God shined through him. He also walked me down the isle at my wedding because my father was doing our wedding. Growing up we played Nintendo. Every Father's Day we would have water gun fights with each other and our dad. He loved everyone and especially his family, church and his country and all the men and women who served. His love and patriotism will be missed.
