Marylen Z. Pemberton's Obituary
Marylen Z. Pemberton, 80, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Parkview Hospital - Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Schuckel. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, the Altar Sodality, and Harvest House. She was a former member of the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Marylen is survived by her husband of 58 years Jim; children, Pam (Gary) Burk of Oxford, OH, Chris (Leon) Steury of St. Joe, and Ted (Amy) Pemberton of Valentine, NE; siblings, Dan (Denise) Schuckel of New Haven, Barbara (Jim) Harper of Hudson, and Jane (Fred) Knipscheer of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Msgr John Suelzer and Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
