Mary Louise Yaggy's Obituary
Mary Louise Yaggy, 99, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, August 12, 2011 after a brief stay at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline (Sorg) Schnelker. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
She is also survived by her children, John (Kay) Yaggy of Brownsburg, Thomas (Norma) Yaggy and Susan Jasean (Little Sister Caroline of Jesus) Yaggy both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Gertrude Weber of Fort Wayne, Jeannette Johnson of Wichita, KS, Mildred Nulf of New Haven, and Marjorie (Gene) Bailey of Zionsville; sisters-in-law, Agnes Schnelker of Fort Wayne and Diane Schnelker of Deerfield Beach, FL; ten grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Yaggy in 1972; brothers, Harold, Oliver, Robert & Donald Schnelker; and sisters, Agnes Van Winkle and Dorothy Zoeller.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Msgr. John Suelzer officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial is in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are for Masses or to Donor’s favorite charity.
