Mary L Saylor's Obituary
Mary L. Saylor, 80, with family singing by her bedside, was carried home by Angels, on Thursday December 17th, 2020. Born in Chicago, Illinois, August 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Raeth) Meagher. She could make anyone smile with her witty sense of humor, but her love for Jesus was the most important thing in her life.
She was a ‘mom’ to many as she helped raise children in need. Those that knew her would confirm she could never turn down anyone that needed help. Her loving and caring heart influenced a multitude of people during her time here on earth. As we rejoice for her being reunited with her Savior, her surviving family are left with heavy hearts. She is survived by her youngest sister Kathleen Orszulak; and 8 children, Beverly Holowach; Darlene (Jeff) Reavis; Amy (Travis) Borger; Alfred Jr (Angie) Saylor; David (Jennifer) Saylor; Julie (Darwin) Alsip; Angeline (Chris) Laney; Mary (Andy) Brown. She is also blessed with 36 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alfred Saylor, Sr in 2010; a daughter Christine Kriner in 2017, a great granddaughter Mya Brown in 2019, and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
