Mary C. Richhart's Obituary
Mary Catherine Richhart, 83, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Charles "Charlie" and Marjorie (Trim) Ladig. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church and was past president and active within the New Haven United Women in Faith (UMW). She worked at International Harvester, Fort Wayne National Bank, Joslyn Steel, and Data Bank. She was a member and held various positions within the Old Ford Model A Club; she also enjoyed crafts, ceramics, needlepoint, baking, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert "Bob" Richhart; sons, Barry (Trish) Richhart and Mark (Anjanette "Anjie") Richhart; siblings, Robert (Sue) Ladig, Carol (Ken) Miller, Gene (Cindy) Ladig, Patty (John) Prascsak, and David Ladig; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anna (Bre), Patrick (Bella), Max (Esther), Simon (Natalie), Abigail, Henry, Rachel, Micah, and Rose Richhart; and great-grandson, Oliver Richhart. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Samuel Richhart; and sister-in-law, Diana Ladig.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
