I'm very sorry about your loss! I've learned from experience that regardless of how aged or ill our parents become, it's still so hard to say good-bye!
I would have tried to come over to see you but I saw the notice in the Sunday paper after the calling hours.
I have many good memories of both of you! I hope life is treating you well!
