Mary Lou Nahrwold's Obituary
Mary Lou Nahrwold, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Fort Wayne. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie (McKean) Schroeder. She graduated from South Side High School class of 1954. She worked for Lutheran Hospital as a Patient Account Representative and retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, and as someone who would do anything for anyone and always putting others before herself.
She is survived by her children, Timothy (Karen) Nahrwold of Rutland, MA and Melany Nahrwold of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Mallary, and Jake; daughter in law, Stephanie Walton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Nahrwold and her son, Joel L. Nahrwold.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Allen County SPCA.
