Mary "Maggie" Marjean Hormann's Obituary
Mary “Maggie” Marjean Hormann., 76, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born in Hicksville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Freda (Hitt) Mattingly. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She was also a member of Twenty Plus One Home Extension Club and Rosary Sodality at St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City. She worked in homecare as a visiting nurse for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth; children, Robin (Brent) Cooper of Spencerville, Rhonda (Tim) Hughes of St. Marys, GA, Ronald (Nancy) Hormann of Woodburn, Rodney (Robin) Hormann of New Haven, and Rochelle (Jamie) Englert of Fort Wayne; siblings, Larry Mattingly of Angola, Kent Mattingly of Fort Wayne, and Noreen (Gary) Provo of Logansport; grandchildren, Justin, Andy, Sarah, Kenneth “Jay”, Spencer, Shelby, Katie, Ashley, Bethany, Brittany, Adam, Evann, and Mason; and great grandchildren, Braylen and Laylah.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to Visiting Nurse and Hospice or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
