Mary Angela Kidd, 66, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Junior and Ruth Ann Ertel. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She retired in 2010 from Sirva Inc. after 25 years. She was also a member of the Decorative Painters Society.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John Kidd Sr.; children, Kassie (Kirk) Ripple of New Haven, Kelly (Tony) Screeton and John (Bobbi) Kidd Jr. both of Fort Wayne; siblings, George Ertel of Fort Wayne, Sandra Kizis-Brown of New Haven, Linda Castleman of Monroeville, and Pamela (Douglas) Lee of Springfield, OH; and ten grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Pat and Mike Ertel; and brother-in-law, William Castleman.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father Mark Enemali officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a 6 p.m. rosary service. Burial in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
