Mary Jo Doster's Obituary
Mary Jo Doster, 54, of Noblesville, formerly of Fort Wayne and New Haven, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Velma Scherschel. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. Mary was a sales representative for Kehe Food Distributor for the past 11 years. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mearl Doster of Noblesville; children, Jami (Doug) Cook of Fishers and Jeremiah (Abby) Doster of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Adrianne Cook; and siblings, Rosie Spieth, Thomas Scherschel, Marita Vonderau, Bob Scherschel, Steve Scherschel, Pat Bouse, Richard Scherschel, Edward Scherschel, Cathy Walters, and Kevin Scherschel. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or American Diabetes Association.
