Mary "Carol" Forsythe's Obituary
Mary “Carol” Forsythe, 93, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Manette (Becker) Gebhard. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She had a long career as an administrative assistant in the Fort Wayne area. Carol enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Forsythe of Fort Wayne, and Neal Forsythe of Auburn; grandchildren, John (Shannon) Forsythe of Fort Wayne and Katy (Garrett) Segraves of Indianapolis; also four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Delbert Forsythe in 1992 and two brothers.
Graveside services is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne. Father Robert Garrow officiating. Preferred memorials are to Alzheimer’s Association or Masses at St. Jude’s Catholic Church.
